Professional & Personal Training for the whole family!

Laura Lee Lotto is a graduate of Animal Behavior College of California and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (www.APDT.com).  She is focused on positive dog obedience training for the family dog.  Laura understands how hectic life can become, and she wants to help our four legged friends be well mannered family members.

Laura's interest in animals began as a child, growing up with her family's Irish Setter named Laddie.  A growing love of dogs encouraged Laura to become an advocate of pet adoption and obedience training.  She seeks to achieve a well-adjusted pet and a harmonious family atmosphere.

Now residing in Wrightstown, WI, Laura and her husband Phillip adopted four of their dogs in Shreveport and Bossier City, LA while Phillip was stationed there at Barksdale Air Force Base.  Their fifth and most recent adopted dog came from Green Bay's Bay Area Humane Society where Laura volunteers to help rehabilitate "troubled" or "un-adoptable" dogs.     Laura has worked with her own dogs to earn certifications of AKC(R) Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International(R).  She enjoys visiting nursing homes with them on her free time.

Foster Work:  Laura began working with several dog rescue groups in 2007 and is/has been a foster mom to many dogs.  The groups she is currently working with include White Paws German Shepherd Rescue out of Green Bay, WI, American Coonhound Rescue - a national rescue with foster homes all over the country, Furry Bottoms Rescue out of Plymouth, WI, and Catahoula Rescue - a national rescue.

Laura's Goals: To prevent dogs from being relinquished to shelters and/or dumped on the street for behavioral issues.  Most dog "issues" are solvable with the right technique for that particular dog and family.  Laura will work with each family to achieve the correct "solution" that works for them and most importantly - the dog.

Other Interests: Besides dogs, Laura is actively involved in tons of other things.  Laura is employed at Rover's Resort Daycare and Boarding in Darboy, WI where she plays with dogs all day and runs group training classes!  She is also currently in school working towards her Associates Degree in Marketing and will be finished with that in December 2008!

Laura also really enjoys remodeling her 100 year old home.  She loves taking a cabinetry class at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and building all of the cabinets in her home too.   Laura and Phillip enjoy downhill skiing, mountain biking, roller-blading, going for walks with the pups, and of course taking it easy watching movies at home with the pups!
