Find your answer below!

  • Training Tailored to Your Family's and Your Dog's Needs:
Laura covers what you and your dog need covered.  Each family is different and each dog is different.  She focuses on what your family is looking for in a dog - whether it is a dog that just greets people nicely at the door or a  superbably  obedient  dog - she will comprise a training program for you.

  • Personal Training:
Either one-on-one or a small group class - it is always personal!
Laura will travel to your home to work one-on-one, or you can sign up for a small group class for a little extra socialization.  Either way, the training program is still built around your needs!

  • Any Dog, Any Issue:
Laura works with everything from newly acquired puppies to rescued seniors, and dogs with designer coats (pure-breed) to the "All American" (mixed breed).

---- Just a few examples of the issues Laura has worked with are ----
Jumping, Biting/Nipping, Dominate Dog/Aggression, Socialization issues, Fear, Anxiety, Barking, Chewing, Potty Training... and the list goes on.

  • Result Oriented:
Daily, weekly, or bi-weekly sessions - whatever you and your dog need to succeed, Laura has it!  She is dedicated to having every family member feel confident that they know the proper way to handle their dog in any situation.
Follow up phone calls and sessions are also done after training is complete to ensure success.

  • Humane & Safe Training Techniques:
Positive reinforcement is the name of the game.  We reward appropriate behaviors and don't reward unwanted behaviors.  In certain cases and situations, corrections are needed, but they are ethical corrections and no abuse of any kind is tolerated.

  • The Whole Family Gets Involved:
When a dog/puppy enters into a family, the whole family needs to not only be involved in, but also understand the training.  Children are the number one bite victims and it is because of lack of education.  Laura teaches children how to properly approach and work with a dog - their own dog or a strange dog.

  • Prices to Fit Your Budget:
Having a dog costs money, and we all feel the crunch of bills here and there.
Laura strives to keep her prices low and make personal dog training affordable for all dog owners.  She offers multiple dog discounts and shelter/rescue dog discounts. (please call for details)

  • Experience:
A Certified Dog Obedience Trainer through Animal Behavior College (R) www.animalbehaviorcollege.com, four of her own adopted shelter dogs, countless clients, and jobs at boarding facilities, Laura has the experience and knowledge you can feel confident in.
