What Does Triple "L" Dog Training Do?
* * Manners & Obedience - Personal Sessions * *
- Initial Consultation combined with Training Session:
- A meet and greet home visit with dog and family
- Laura gets to know the dog and observe him/her in the home environment
- Discuss family concerns, problem areas, and family wishes
- Recommendations will then be given and a training schedule established
- Initial training and/or behavior modification begins
- 1 1/2 hour session
- Training Sessions:
- Held at owner's home (a park or other facility may be used)
- As many family members as possible attend the session for the best results & consistent training
- 1 hour sessions - Adjustments may be made for each dog's attention span and ability, and family concerns and needs.
- Multiple sessions may be needed based on family goals and Laura's recommendations.
- Most sessions are needed once every two - three weeks.

- Beginning Manners:
- For dogs over 6 months of age
- Teaches basic obedience commands as well as overall good behavior with humans
- Topics covered: Sit, Stay, Down, Off, On The Rug, Stay, Wait, Leave It and many, many more
- Classes held at Rover's Resort
- Puppy Class:
- For puppies ages 7 weeks - 5 months
- Class covers proper socialization needed at this age
- Topics covered: Sit, Down, Puppy Biting, Potty Training, Loose Leash walking and more!
- Classes held at Rover's Resort
- Advanced Obedience:
- For families interested in going further with their dog
- Dogs over 1 year of age (or has completed Beginning Manners class)
- Topics Covered: Off leash commands, off leash walking, long down, long stay and much more!
* * Professional Phone Consultations/Advice * *
- This is a service offered for someone who just needs a little direction but has a good grip on most things.
- Billing will be mailed to you.
- Not a suitable choice for all cases - final decision will be made by Laura.
* * Canine Compatibility Service * *
- A service to provide families with the best canine match for their lifestyle when looking to adopt from a rescue or shelter.
- Initial Consultation:
- A phone conversation to determine family lifestyle, family member personalities, family activity level and their idea of the right dog.
- Shelter/Rescue meeting:
- Laura will meet the family at the appointed shelter or rescue and meet potential dogs.
- Choosing the Dog: Laura will help choose the correct dog after assessing it's personality, energy level & exercise requirements, background/abuse history.
- She will explain what the dog will require to become a happy and loving companion. (eg: time, patients, training)

* * Dog Walking * *
- Walking your dog is a must and Laura understands how busy life can become sometimes...
- Initial Consultation:
- Approximately 15 minute session to meet family and dog
- A walking schedule or session will be established with times
- Any number of walks may be set up: from 1 - 101 (pre-purchased walk sessions are given a discount - click HERE for details)
- It is a great way to get your dog the exercise he/she needs.
- Reasons you may need a dog walker:
- Working long hours or multiple jobs
- After injury or surgery
- Having a party or entertaining people (need a walker before or during the party)
- Just can't seem to find the time to get Fido out there for that walk!
- Pregnant, new baby, or young children & not enough arms!
* * Dog (and Cat) Sitting * *
- Feel safe knowing your pooch or kitty is being cared for by a professional in your own home!
- Initial consultation:
- Get to know you, your dog (or cat) and daily routine. We will fill out paperwork and discuss details of when you will need the sitting service.
- Laura will then come to your home (a "visit") to walk, feed, let out and play with your best friend.
- Any length of time you are away - even for a long day trip - a dog sitter is a good choice just to have stop in!
